Professor Li
Professor Li, the founding director of Nigeria-China Friendship Hospital, is a renowned traditional Chinese medicine master with over 50 years of clinical experience.
Born into a family of TCM practitioners, he studied at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and specialized in internal medicine, acupuncture, and herbal therapy. He pioneered authentic TCM services in West Africa in the 1990s, treating thousands of patients with chronic conditions and earning widespread trust.
Now retired from frontline practice, Professor Li continues to guide the hospital’s development and uphold its mission of providing professional, culturally sensitive TCM care to African patients.
